This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Adult Intensive Outpatient Program Counselor-LCADC at The YMCA of Greater Monmouth County intentionally fosters a cause-centered culture that is welcoming, genuine, hopeful, nurturing, and determined.
In 12-15 hours per week, this clinician fulfills the clinical and administrative duties required for the Adult IOP, and carries an assigned caseload of IOP Adults substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Clinical services are offered in compliance with agency requirements for licensure and accreditation. Administrative duties include consulting with Drug Court, ISP and other referral sources, as well as preparing reports and working in cooperation with the Adult IOP Coordinator. This individual provides education, crisis intervention, case management and assists with discharge planning. Individual, group and family therapy and parent support are the core clinical duties of this position.
